May Technique Challenge

Hi Everyone!  

It's Tracy again, and it is the 4th week of May and again as a hostess, I got to choose between having a Technique or Stash challenge and I decided that we are going to have both. You will see what I mean after I reveal what we are doing, and that is

You could do either dry embossing with your embossing folders or embossing with your ink and heat gun. There is so much that can be achieved with embossing because there are different types of embossing. So you can see what I mean about it being both - you are using a technique by doing your embossing with your ink but I am making you dig in your stash to find either a stamp to emboss with or a long-forgotten embossing folder. 

So I want everyone to dive into their long-forgotten embossing folder stash or their embossing powder stash or even both and let's see what you can come up with.

May Theme Challenge

Hi Everyone!  

It's Tracy again, and it is the 3rd week of May and that means as a hostess I got to choose between doing either a theme or a recipe. I decided to go along with a theme.

Silhouettes are fun to play with. There are some wonderful dies that we can use to make silhouette quite easy these days. I suppose you could also call a silhouette an outline so these types of stamps and dies would be acceptable as well. Plus there are also beautiful stamps as well, I am looking forward to seeing what you can come up with.

May Colour Challenge

Hi Everyone!  

It's Tracy again, and it is the 2nd week of May and that means we are playing with colours. 

This time around I am leaving the choices up to you but I ask you to play with these colours:

What do I mean by this exactly ... well, I don't want to see the usual Red, Green and White. Or if you do I want you to use a very non-traditional shade of these colours. You will see this with my card ... but first.
