February Theme Challenge

Hello again, from Lucinda.

It was wonderful to see the great colour challenge entries last week. We have already reached week three of February and our theme challenge.

This was the hardest challenge for me to decide on. I wanted something that would give a range of options for all card making styles, and that I thought would be fun to play with.

So, although we're a card challenge and don't allow tags as entries, this week I invite you to use tags on your cards. This could be in an image, a sentiment, a topper, or even a tag shaped card.

February Colour Challenge

Hello, Lucinda here with you again.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful entries for our sketch challenge.

It's now time for a colour combination to inspire you.

The colours I have chosen for us to play with this week are pink, purple and blue. I wanted colours next to each other on the colour wheel to allow blending and mixing of colours if you want to play with those techniques. But of course, what you do with the colours is up to you!

These three colours must be used on your card. White, silver and a little black are also allowed if you wish to use them; no other colours can appear on your card.

February Sketch Challenge

I used to work in the Travel Industry, managing Travel Agencies and so I travelled a lot. My Husband is from Scotland, so we used to visit family every year (before Covid). I have 2 grown up children and 2 cute, but naughty dogs! 

I’ve been stamping and making cards, on and off for 20 years. I really got enthused about 8 years ago, when I started playing in challenges and made my blog.
