April Technique Challenge

Good Morning, Louise here for the last time as it is the last Saturday in April. I have really enjoyed hosting the challenges this month and I'm going out with my favourite technique of all, I think, Triple Time stamping. If you are not sure what I mean check out the tutorial on YouTube here.

I think that the gallery will look amazing with all your cards, remember you can make your layers (and your card) any shape, you can use any stamp or combination of stamps and the colours are up to you too!

April Theme Challenge

Good morning, it's Saturday again and time for another Christmas card challenge from your DT here at 52 CCT. My name is Louise and the challenges in April are my choice and so far I've been amazed by all the beautiful cards we've had in the gallery. Last week I used my love of coffee as my colour inspiration and this week, well,  those of you who visit my blog will know that I'm a bit of a mad cat lady and so I've asked for cards featuring cats -any kind, stamped, die cut, cartoon, cute, vintage, just so long as the cat(s) are the focal point on your card.

April Colour Challenge

Good morning and welcome to a brand new challenge from the team at 52. Louise here, with a colour challenge for you to play with this week, but before I show you the colours we'd like you to use on your Christmas cards this week, I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who entered the sketch challenge last week. Beautiful cards! Check back later in the week to find out which cards we chose as our favourites.

It is a simple colour challenge, inspired by my love, or should I say addiction, to coffee shop coffee, latte, cappuccino, macchiato, flat white...I love them all and they often look so pretty. So check out the inspiration below, make yourself a coffee and see what you can do....

March - Technique Challenge Winners

Well, it appears that last week's Punch Art Challenge proved rather more difficult than we'd expected,  but we had two clear winners and the voting was tied.

So this week, the top slot is shared between two fabulous entries...

Winners of the Punch Art Challenge

Meg

the Team thought Meg's entry was just beautiful -
lots of punched stars in shades of blue, to create a pretty Christmas wreath.

AND

The Design Team was bowled over by this cute little punch art penguin,
and we all agreed that he is just adorable!

Congratulations ladies - you may now collect your winner's badges to display on your blog.

Whilst all the entries were exceptional, our two winners most closely met our brief.
Thank you to everyone who shared their beautiful cards with us.

And we would love to see more of your wonderful work, so there's still time to join us for this week's sketch challenge ...

See you on Saturday for a brand new challenge!!

April Sketch Challenge

Welcome to 52CCT, where we like to create Christmas cards all year round! Thank you for your cards for the Punch Art Challenge last week, weren't they all fabulously creative? Check back later in the week for the roll of honour.

It is a brand new month and so we have a new hostess, Louise, who has chosen all the challenges for April. As usual we start the ball rolling with a sketch. This one is based on patchwork or paper blocking techniques. Looking forward to seeing what you can do with it...
