July Sketch Challenge

Hello!  It's Patricia here, and I'm excited to be hosting the challenges for the month of July!  Thank you to Jacqueline for a fun month of June challenges, and thank you to everyone who joined in them.  The design team loves seeing the creativity of our challenge participants!

Even though most of us in the Northern Hemisphere are dealing with the summer heat, it's still all things Christmasy and wintry here at 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown!  Since it's the first Saturday of the month, this week's challenge is a sketch challenge.  I've come up with a fairly simple sketch, which you can leave as a clean and layered style card, or dress up with embellishments and patterned papers.  You may also choose to turn the sketch on its side.  I drew up the sketch as an A2 sized rectangle (4.25" x 5.5") but if you prefer to make square cards, feel welcome to manipulate it into a square.

Here's the sketch photo ~

Don't let those triangular areas intimidate you.  That's simply a rectangle, roughly the same size as the focal (top) panel, just tilted a bit.

And now for some DT inspiration~

The rest of the design team and I are looking forward to seeing what you create!

Please make sure to follow these rules when you play along with us here at 52CCT! :)

*Please link back to our blog in your post so that others can join in the fun.
*We would love it if you added our button to the side of your blog
*Please make sure to link to your POST, not your blog.
*Please make sure NOT to back link.
*In order to be considered for Top Honor or Honorable Mention, you must link up by Friday at 6:00pm GMT.
*You are free to enter this challenge and 10 others only.
*We'd really appreciate it if you'd turn off word verification so that we can comment more easily! We know a lot of you do this for safety, but it takes a very long time to comment when verification is activated, and you may lose your comments from us...just sayin'. ;)
