October Technique Challenge and DT CALL

Good morning! A quick reminder about our Design Team call - details below:

DESIGN TEAM CALL

Before we get to our challenge details, you'll have noticed that we are looking to add some new members to our Design Team in 2017. The challenges this month are:

  • Week 1 - Sketch
  • Week 2 - Colours
  • Week 3 - Theme
  • Week 4 - Technique
  • Week 5 - Pick a Previous

If you wish to be considered for the DT, you must take part in AT LEAST THREE of the FIVE challenges this month. Simply add the letters, DT, after your name on your entry submission. Please remember that our challenge is for CARDS only - no tags, bags or gifts.  Please note that you need to have a blog if you wish to be considered for the DT.

We will contact successful applicants during November. The new DT members will join the team in January 2017 with a revamped 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge.

And now I'll return you to our regular posts.

Hello there,
It's time to reveal our new challenge. Do you like techniques or is it something you don't fancy? Let me know in the comments below. I would love to know! :)
Hope you will find this technique suits you and that you will join us!

Let's see what the team have created to share with you today:

(If you can't see it well: the sentiment and the top of the ornaments are embossed in clear on black :) You can see it better if you zoom in the picture)

(the red berries are heat embossed; the red panels are dry embossed)

We're looking forward to seeing what you can do with this technique!  You have until midnight British Summer Time/7:00 p.m. Eastern time Friday 28th October to link your card.  Happy crafting!
