August Embellishment Challenge

Good morning! It's Sarah again with an embellishment challenge for August. We want you to use canvas on your card. I've found that canvas is a great surface to stamp on for a rustic textured look. Give it a try if you've never used it in your papercrafting before. We're excited to see what you come up with!

July Embellishment Challenge

Hello!  It's hard for me (Patricia) to believe that July is nearly over!  I've had a lot of fun being your hostess this month and coming up with ideas for the challenges.  Thank you to everyone who has been playing along with us all month, and extra special thanks if you've joined us all year long so far!

Before I get to this week's challenge, I'd like to give everyone a friendly reminder to please read our challenge rules and directions carefully.  We've had a lot of fabulous cards entered into our challenges this month, but unfortunately, many of them have been ineligible for the Design Team's Top Honors and Honorable Mention voting because the participants have not followed our challenge directions and/or guidelines.  This makes the Team very sad!  Thank you for your cooperation in this. 

Now, on to the fun stuff!  This week, we want to see stitching on your cards.  You may use hand stitching, machine stitching, or draw some faux stitching on your card.  You can stitch a border or a design.  The choices are up to you!  However, in order to be considered for our weekly Top Honors and Top Five, the stitching should be easily seen on your card, and consist of more than simply sewing on a button.
