February Technique Challenge

 It's Lucinda here, with my last challenge this year as host of the challenge.

This was an easy choice for me as this is my favourite technique! I have chosen "Mixed Media" for us to play with this week.

Mixed media technically just means more than one medium - which could be ink and embossing powder. However, there is a certain broad mixed media style, which is loose and relaxed, with layers built up. So I encourage you to be more adventurous with your products. Layer up papers, inks, pastes, stencilling, stamping and embellishments. Experiment and see what happens!

February Theme Challenge

Hello again, from Lucinda.

It was wonderful to see the great colour challenge entries last week. We have already reached week three of February and our theme challenge.

This was the hardest challenge for me to decide on. I wanted something that would give a range of options for all card making styles, and that I thought would be fun to play with.

So, although we're a card challenge and don't allow tags as entries, this week I invite you to use tags on your cards. This could be in an image, a sentiment, a topper, or even a tag shaped card.
