July Technique Challenge

Kathy here with the last challenge in July.  These weeks have gone by so fast and have been filled with such enjoyment for me, thanks to all of you for making and sharing such wonderful cards with us each week. 
And for the last challenge, you will have two weeks to participate and I look forward to seeing what you do with it.    
To some of you it may seem slightly unusual to "fussy cuts" and with die cuts who wants to and I get that when using stamps I prefer die cuts as well.  But when I first started stamping 20 plus years ago, die cuts had not come on the scene,  so in order to do "layering" using our stamped images we took our scissors and snip, snip, snip and made our cards.   I love creating dimention!   We did have simple shape punches (back in the old days).  Now I mostly "fussy cut" when I use digi stamps, DSP papers with fun designs (flowers, animals etc)

July Theme Challenge

July Colour Challenge

It's the second Saturday in July, so that means it's time for our Colour challenge.

July Sketch Challenge

Hi, Kathy, here.  Welcome to Christmas in July at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.    

I'm excited to be the hostess this month. We're officially half way through 2023 and for those of you who join us most weeks you have built up quite a stash of beautiful cards to send family and friends this next Christmas and New Years.  

Whether you are a regular player or this is your first visit, know that you are so welcome and please join us in this "sketch" challenge.  On the first Saturday of every month, we do a sketch and we would love to see a card you make using this simple sketch.     

Please feel free to "interpret" this sketch (using shapes of your choice and use whatever size of sentiment works for you).   That's what challenges are about after all.  We inspire one another!    One entrant will be selected to be a future guest designer!   

If you are new, we have submission guidelines and you might want to read these (below) before you start creating!    The design team has created some fabulous cards to help get your creativity flowing!    So let's do it!
