January - Theme Winners

The bells, the bells!
The thumbnail display was so pretty with all the lovely bell themed cards.

Winner of the Theme Challenge

#8 - Loll - Perfectly clean and simple!
Very cute card with the green jingle bells
and Ruldolf's red sparkly nose too!

Honourable Mentions
(in order of submission)

Many congratulations ladies - we'd love to see you pick up your badges from the top of the page and display them proudly on your blog.

Our challenge this week is a technique which is very popular in Blogland at the moment - it gives the appearance of lots of layers, but in fact your card remains quite flat and thus easy to post!!

You've still got plenty of time to join the fun!  Can't wait to see what you make.

January Technique Challenge

Hi, it's Deborah here with you again this week.
It's time for our technique challenge - it's very popular at the moment.
It gives the impression of lots of layers, but in fact your card is quite flat!
And the technique I'd like you to use for your project is
Inlaid Dies.

Here's some inspiration from the Team.

January - colour winners ....

... Hi all!  Sorry I'm running late with this post - time has really run away with me this week!  You seemed to like the Shades of Blue challenge last week.  I really liked the thumbnail display - it was so pretty with all the frosty, cool blues.

Winner of the Colour Challenge

#11 - Susan B - we really like how you kept to just blues!
Love the embossed snowflakes in the background and on the tag.
Lovely work.

Honourable Mentions
(in order of submission)

Congratulations ladies.  Don't forget to pick up your badge from the tab at the top of the blog and display it on your blog.

There's still time to join in with this week's challenge - my theme for you is BELLS!  Have fun.

January - Sketch winners ....

... Good morning everyone.  I was so pleased to see so many people playing along with our first challenge of the year.  The sketch was one that could be dressed up or kept really simple - and we had examples of both!

Winner of Sketch Challenge

#8 - Evelyn - You kept exactly to the sketch - even using a star,
but you dressed up your card beautifully.  Love the embossed background
and sweet little birds!

Honourable Mentions
in order of submission

Congratulations to you all.  Please pick up your badge from the tab at the top of the blog and display it on your blog.

There's still plenty of time to join in with this week's challenge - I've got a colour challenge for you - all shades of blue.  Please stick to just blues.

Looking forward to seeing your creations!  Have fun!

January Colour Challenge

Good morning Christmas crafters - it's time for our colour challenge and I've gone for shades of blue.  We are having a real arctic blast of winter here in North America and the view from my window is snow and more snow, with bright blue skies!!!  It was lovely to see so many submission for my sketch challenge - and I hope to see just as many, if not more for the blues!!!!

Please make sure that you use just the colours provided,
(you may use black for stamping image outlines).
