This week we'd like for you to click on our Colour Combos Archive tab, choose a combination that we've used for one of our prior color challenges, and create a Christmas card with it. Then share your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post. We'd love to see what you make! We do ask that in your blog post, you note which of our previous color schemes you've used for your card.
Our March guest designer, Scraplady, has created a sparkly, snowy scene
using the October 2013 combo, no red or green:
Here is some more inspiration from the Design Team:
(July 2012 - black and white with a splash of blue)
(May 2013 - red and white)
(January 2014 - choose three colors from two blues, two purples, and yellow)
(July 2013 - deep red, dark green, ivory, and dark brown)
(September 2012 - brown, red, and cream or white )
(May 2012 - purple, silver, and green)
(March 2012 - blue, red, and green)
(April 2013 - navy, light blue, and white)
(January 2014 - choose three colors from two blues, two purples, and yellow)
Now it's your turn! Please create your own Christmas or wintry card using one of our previous color schemes. Share it with us via the linky tool below before 6:00 pm GMT/1:00 pm Eastern time Friday, April 4. We'd love to see what you make! :)
Please make sure to follow these rules when you play along with us here at 52CCT! :)
*Please read the challenge requirements carefully before creating your card. We will never delete any submissions that do not follow our challenge rules; however, only cards that meet the requirements will be considered by the Design Team for our weekly Top Honors and Honorable Mention voting.
*Please link back to our blog in your post so that others can join in the fun.
*We would love it if you added our button to the side of your blog.
*Please make sure to link to your POST, not your blog.
*Please make sure NOT to back link. Your card must not have been posted to your blog before the date of this challenge.
*In order to be considered for Top Honor or Honorable Mention, you must link up by Friday at 6:00pm GMT.
*You are free to combine this challenge with up to 10 other challenges.
*We'd
really appreciate it if you'd turn off word verification so that we can
comment more easily! We know a lot of you do this for safety, but it
takes a very long time to comment when verification is activated, and
you may lose your comments from us... just sayin'. ;)
