May Recipe Challenge

Hello and welcome to the third Saturday in November.  How's your Christmas shopping going? You still have 5 more weekends to do it all. I  need to get organised, that is apart from my cards, as you can imagine I have quite a good stock of those!

October Recipe Challenge #22

Hello!  Hope that this third week of October is treating each of you very well!  My month of hosting the challenges is going so wonderfully - thank you all for continuing to play along and support us. We love to see your wonderful Christmas creations and you continue to give us new ideas as well. This week's challenge is a recipe challenge - or more specifically...BLING!! 

Ooohhh I just can't wait to see what you come up with.  For the record... Bling it Up! means more than one pearl or rhinestone, or sequin - it means several of them.  Pearls and rhinestones are my favorite embellishment to use on cards. You could also use a bit of glitter if you like to make your beautiful Christmas card "Blingy".  So enough chit-chat from me let's see what the DT members have done shall we?

July Recipe Challenge

Hello!  If you're feeling the summer heat, come cool off with us here at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown, where we're always in the Christmas spirit!

I'm Patricia, your challenge hostess for the month of July.  The third week of the month, the hostess has the option of choosing a theme or a recipe challenge, and I've opted for a recipe challenge.  It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!  You must use one ribbon, two different patterned papers, and three gems on your card.  The gems can be pearls or rhinestones or other crystals, or even one of each type - but a grand total of only three.
